New blog site magic!!!

So since Myspace is a complete piece of shit I've decided that Makin' Whoopee, my weekly radio show, will now just have a blogger site (the Facebook group will still be active, however). This is something I should have just done from the beginning, but wasn't my decision to make until this year. This way all the playlists will actually be available to everyone who wants them, should they care to look, plus whatever else I should care to add to the site.

Anyways, I feel pretty happy about it. No audio as of yet, but that may be a possibility in the future, we'll have to see. Oh, and I have a co-host named Colin now.

So check it out
... I don't announce it on air til next Tuesday, when I hope it will meet my standards of adequacy.

Ghetto Livin'

word up. Still alive. You?

There is probably a lot new to report, but what of it is worth telling? I went on a record buying binge this weekend, I have to be stopped. You know when you cross that line, and you're like "Stop! You're fucking crazy, man!" but you're talking to yourself? I did that today. What do I mean by fucking crazy? Check it:

These are the new additions:

Burt Bacharach - Make It Easy On Yourself
Broken Social Scene Presents: Kevin Drew - Spirit If...
Broken Social Scene - Live at Radio Aligre FM in Paris -[download]
Gentleman Reg - Darby & Joan - [download]
the New Pornographers - Challengers: Executive Edition
Thurston Moore - Trees Outside the Academy
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls - Original Soundtrack LP
Jackie Brown - Original Soundtrack LP
Beck - Stereopathetic Soulmanure LP
Ben Weasel - Fidatevi LP
Ben Weasel - These Ones Are Bitter LP
Peter Bjorn & John - Writer's Block LP
Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks - Pig Lib LP

AND I preordered Population by The Most Serene Republic and Radiohead's newest, In Rainbows, and I paid 7 dollars for it, just so you know.

So yeah, it has to stop. I mean, we don't even have curtains that can cover the whole living room window, so walking around naked is a bad idea, unless you like that sort of thing. Food is another thing I should spend money on, and gas.
