(Everything is ) Hunky Dory
I like this better. Although the new blogger lets you edit your template and customize it to your liking, I still had to go into the html to change the background colour to red, so it was really fun remembering how to do that. . . anyways, it was worth it, I'd say. I wasn't feeling the blueness anyways...PLUS RED IS MEGA SEXY. I'll probably fix the title bar at some point, too.
There is a most beautiful thunderstorm happening. It was so loud earlier, and not from the thunder, but from the immense raindrops pounding my building. I stepped out onto the balcony and stood there in the dark, getting damp from rain exploding on the rail and finally not feeling sticky with sweat. I never see any other lights on in the apartments I live around. Do they work all night? All of them? I never even see lights on in my own building. Just me, visibly dancing in the windows while cooking dinner at 10 PM. Stutter.
Out of awesome, I totally cleaned my bathroom...there were moustache fragments everywhere. Does that make my bathroom less cool now? I guess the garbage can has the most moustache in the house now.
Fun fact...when in a bar whilst wearing a moustache, drunk people will tell you, ad nauseum, "Dude, you are fucken' awesome." "YOUR MOUSTACHE RULEZ!" It's great. I love it.
Jono is home for good this weekend. I will no longer be living alone, but I can see myself resenting this soon. Parking out on the front street again will be so fucking great. I can't stop lying. Help me.
Okay okay....enjoy the new outfit. Don't stay out too late.

Speak to me in a language I can hear...
Mercy mercy me, it's 1 am and I should be fast asleep. It appears Edmonton has brought back my old (bad) sleeping habits. This needs to stop. I'm thinking of trying melatonin or something.
I wrote a letter to France. I don't know how long it takes for international mail to arrive, but I hope it's not longer than 2 weeks.
It's so hot right now, and night time just makes it muggy. That isn't helping me get to sleep either. Water water water, people. It appears there isn't much to say.
I've spent the last week listening to the Smashing Pumpkins' new record Zeitgeist. It's good...starts off really strong and kind of fades out in the middle, but altogether a really good record. I grabbed a torrent of the record that had all 3 bonus tracks on it (don't worry, I actually bought it, too) and they really help to fill out the album.
I may go back to school in the fall...?
